CT Department Of Developmental Services

The DDS program is responsible for the planning, development and administration of services to persons with intellectual disabilities and individuals medically diagnosed as having Prader-Willi Syndrome.  Services include residential placement and in-home supports, day and employment programs, early intervention, family support, respite, case management and other services.  In addition, the Autism Division operates a program for adults with autism spectrum disorder who do not have intellectual disabilities. 

As the assigned Financial Intermediary, Allied Community Resources is responsible for:

  • Providing in-home enrollment, training, and information to program participants who choose to self-direct their services as a household employer.
  • Verification of Provider credentials and employment documentation
  • Process Timesheets and Invoices on behalf of the program participant and or employer using program funds
  • Provide monthly and quarterly expenditure reports to clients and their assigned DDS Case Manager

Each participant and or employer is assigned a direct customer representative committed to providing the highest level of customer service.    Our staff has an extensive working relationship with Case Managers, administrative staff, service coordinators, providers and employers.
