Connecticut Bureau Of Rehabilitation Services

The BRS program assists persons with significant physical or mental disabilities to prepare for, find or keep a job. If you are eligible for BRS services, a counselor will help you develop an employment plan based on your needs and abilities and will help arrange whatever services are needed to achieve your employment goal.

Allied Community Resources staff works closely with job seekers and program counselors on plan start ups, payment approval, budget management and revisions and household employer responsibilities. We also assist with the employment paperwork and credentialing of potential employees (personal assistants).

Allied Community Resources submits payment data report files in the required format for the Department to receive reimbursement.

For additional information regarding the BRS Program, including eligibility and program applications please visit the State of Connecticut Bureau of Rehabilitation Services website at www.ct.gov/brs.
